Zoya Claudine

Hi, you guys! I have the day off from work for Labor Day, so I'm totally being slow and lazy lol. Hope you're having a great start to your week. :-)

Today, I'm wrapping up the Zoya Satin Collection with another fun fall metallic. Claudine is a dark charcoal steel-gray with lots of silver shimmers in a metallic finish.

I really like this shade of gray. It's dark enough to be modern, but not so dark that it's black. It has a great formula. Each coat goes on so smooth like butter without streakiness. It's also pigmented. You can get away with just one coat, though I did another just to make sure everything appears extra even for the swatches.

After trying the whole collection, I'm really thrilled with it. I love all the rich jewel tones; they're exactly the sorts of colors I like to wear to ward off the dreariness of fall. My favorite shades are Channing and Mason, and I also love the versatility of Maria Luisa. I'd love to know what you think of this collection. Any favs to join your fall wardrobe? :-)

You can find Claudine on Zoya.com for $8 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.

  1. I like greys that don't pretend to be black, so I also like this one a lot! Perhaps it's even good for stamping, who knows :)

    1. I also like that it's not black. Stamping... yes, this would be great for that. It's so smooth and pigmented. :)

  3. Happy Labour Day dear Yun!!! We don't celebrate this Holiday in Switzerland so for me while it was a working day it was very slow since I am solely working with the US. Claudine is very sophisticated and elegant on you, I love it. My favorites were Mason and the blue and the effect Top Coat - thank you for another great Collection Review xxx

  5. Ooh I was afraid it would be too blackened, but yeah, it definitely looks like a true gray. Beautiful!

  8. I would wear this every day! I love these charcoal metallics. A more edgy "neutral" for fall :)

    1. For sure! It's a great way to remain neutral but still interesting for fall. :)

  10. I'm seeing a hint of green to this (not sure if it's just the lighting) which I think adds that extra interest and complexity. You're so dedicated with your swatches - the application is always flawless and so consistent :)

    1. No, the green is my bad. I think it's a reflection of the trees outside the window. The gray is so reflective, it just picks up every darn thing lol. :D Thanks so much, that's really kind of you to say! <3

  11. I really like this shade! I have a Sally Hansen polish that is a similar shade but it chips easily :( x

    1. I'm glad you like it! If you're looking for a better formula, Zoyas usually last a week on me with no chipping. :)
