Barielle Polished Princess

Hi everyone! Thank goodness it's the weekend! Work was crazy on Friday, and I ended up staying there quite late, so I didn't get a chance to update yesterday. I've been excited to share this polish with you guys, so I'm glad I'm finally getting the chance to today. :-)

I am talking about Barielle's Polished Princess. I fell in love with this color the moment I put it on. It's a mossy, plant-like green with the most gorgeous golden, coppery shimmer.

Isn't that just the most beautiful color? (Please click on the pictures to see the enlarged versions.) It reminds me of this fern outside my house, which is that exact shade when the sunlight hits it. The golden and coppery shimmers in the polish really shine through on the nail, and bring a lovely depth to the color. It's a gorgeous shade, perfect for spring and summer.

The formula of Polished Princess is great. It is easy to control and flows nicely onto the nail. You will need to do two medium coats or three thin coats to achieve opacity. Since this is my first Barielle polish, I did a wear test to see how it holds up. After five days (my usual time for wearing a polish before the nail growth gap becomes too noticible), there were no chips and just minimal tip wear.

You can find Polished Princess on Barielle.com for $8 for 0.45oz, but there is an ongoing sale for buy one get one 50% off.
