Julep Georgia

Hi everyone! Today, I have for you Julep's Georgia, one of the polishes from my July Boho Glam Maven Box. I've been super excited to try all the colors ever since I first saw them in this month's previews. Georgia is a bright medium coral with a golden shimmer finish.

I absolutely love bright warm colors in the summer time. Not only do they pair well with my skin tone, but they look so cheery and happy peeking out from my nails. Georgia is warm through and through, from its luminous peach-orange-coral base to its strong golden shimmer. It can be disappointing when a polish base obscures its shimmers once the polish is actually on the nails, so I'm pleased that this is not the case with Georgia. The shimmers remain strong on the nail, and add a lot of depth to this polish.

Georgia has just the right consistency, so it's easy to do thin coats without any lumping or streaking. What you see in the swatches is the standard two coats, and it reaches a good level of opacity. It was tough to capture the exact brightness of this polish; in person, it is just a shade less bright than what you see in my swatches. This color comes from the same inspiration as the cult favorite Nars Orgasm (also a coral with golden shimmer), and having it will go a long way towards my lemming for Orgasm.
