OPI Berlin There Done That

Hi lovelies! Hope you are in the midst of a fun-filled and relaxing weekend! For me, a big part of the weekend is the food. My husband and I very much enjoy eating out, so we would spend the weekend talking about the restaurants we could go to and all the food possibilities, and then making the difficult decisions of narrowing it down to just a few. We always come out of weekends very satisfied and a few pounds heavier, no doubt. ;-)

Today I have Berlin There Done That, a taupe neutral creme from OPI's Germany Collection to show you.

Taupe is one of those colors that I think looks better on walls than on nails (at least on my nails), but I do admit Berlin There Done That isn't too bad. The taupe is a good balance between gray and brown, and it's a clean-looking taupe that doesn't come across muddy. On me, it has just a hint of purple at some angles, but that could be the contrast against my skintone. Formula is smooth and streak-free, and is opaque is two coats.

You can find Berlin There Done That at your local nail salons and beauty stores for $8.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

  1. Another classic win! I just love taupes, they are relaxing without being meh or boring.
^^ Your way of picking a restaurant sounds absolutely fun! Did you go to a Spanish restaurant yet? Tortilla, Iberic ham and sangrĂa... I think you would love it. The true question is: who wouldn't? :p

    1. I'm glad you like this color! It's very classy! :D I've been to Spanish restaurants in other parts of the US, but not in Seattle where I currently am. I don't know of any good Spanish restaurants around here, but I will keep my eyes open. ;-)

    1. Aww lucky for you that your hubby cooks. Neither my husband or I cook much, mostly due to lack of time and general laziness lol. There's nothing as delicious as a home-cooked meal. ;-)

  9. I can see what you mean about the "better on walls than nails" comment :p I generally prefer lighter shades that aren't so medium to dark grey, but this seems like quite a sophisticated polish for winter.
