Today I have Berlin There Done That, a taupe neutral creme from OPI's Germany Collection to show you.
Taupe is one of those colors that I think looks better on walls than on nails (at least on my nails), but I do admit Berlin There Done That isn't too bad. The taupe is a good balance between gray and brown, and it's a clean-looking taupe that doesn't come across muddy. On me, it has just a hint of purple at some angles, but that could be the contrast against my skintone. Formula is smooth and streak-free, and is opaque is two coats.
You can find Berlin There Done That at your local nail salons and beauty stores for $8.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

Another classic win! I just love taupes, they are relaxing without being meh or boring.
ReplyDelete^^ Your way of picking a restaurant sounds absolutely fun! Did you go to a Spanish restaurant yet? Tortilla, Iberic ham and sangrĂa... I think you would love it. The true question is: who wouldn't? :p
I'm glad you like this color! It's very classy! :D I've been to Spanish restaurants in other parts of the US, but not in Seattle where I currently am. I don't know of any good Spanish restaurants around here, but I will keep my eyes open. ;-)

ReplyDeleteI think it sounds really great eating out during the weekend. Eating good food without having to cook it yourself is just great! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, we love eating out. Now that the weekend is over, I can definitely say that we ate too much this weekend lol. Going on a small diet for the rest of the week. ;-)

Good food is a must LOL - I'm so lucky that my husband almost always cooks, but no doubt If I were alone, I rapidly would loose the weight that would be OK to loose hahaha
ReplyDeleteI think this taupe looks good on you, but I know how you feel about it, that's just like me :)
Aww lucky for you that your hubby cooks. Neither my husband or I cook much, mostly due to lack of time and general laziness lol. There's nothing as delicious as a home-cooked meal. ;-)

I can see what you mean about the "better on walls than nails" comment :p I generally prefer lighter shades that aren't so medium to dark grey, but this seems like quite a sophisticated polish for winter.
ReplyDeleteYes, this one isn't too bad. It does look quite fresh and sophisticated on. :-)
