Dollish Polish Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea?

Hi, you guys! Hope you're in the midst of a great weekend! :-)

Today, I've got my favorite from Dollish Polish's recent Cartoon Series to share with you. Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea? is comprised of small white and gold square and round glitters, medium blue round glitters, and large red star glitters, all in a white jelly.

I've been eyeing this ever since it first came out, and I was really happy to finally pick it up during Llarowe's recent Memorial Day sale. :-) I've been so into white jellies recently, and no one makes them quite like Dollish Polish. This white jelly is smooth and creamy, and builds up to the perfect translucency in just two coats. I'm loving the unique and fun combination of glitters and how they look peeking out from the milky base.

Application-wise, since this polish's glitters are more sparse, I found it helpful to turn the bottle upside down for 30 minutes or so before applying so that the glitters have a chance to distribute evenly in the bottle. The big red stars did take a lot of finagling to get onto the brush, but that's pretty standard for glitters of that size. I did manage to get one star on each finger and was quite happy with the result.

You can find Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea? on Dollish Polish's Big Cartel site for $10 for the full sized bottle of 0.5 fl oz, as well as at a few other retailers, such as Llarowe.

  8. Hi Yun - what a pretty and delicate shade - it looks as if you would have the most delicate Chiffon on your nails. I love how the glitters become also such a soft look and fishing for those stars? Anytime for such a result <3

  9. Ohh the colour is so cute! The mix of glitters is just perfect! I think having 1 star on each nail is perfect! Gives this nail look such a unique twist! Also, I think I may have a soft spot for white creme/jelly glitter mix - but they are so good!! ;D

    1. Thanks Essie, that's very sweet of you. <3 I'm totally ok. I've been a bit busy this month and also have been out and about taking advantage of the summer, so I haven't been blogging as much. Hope to be back on track soon! :)
