OPI Alcatraz... Rocks

Hi, you guys! Hope your weekend is going well! :-)

Today, I wanted to share with you the last of my picks from the OPI San Francisco Fall Collection. Alcatraz... Rocks is a dark steel blue with hoards of different colored glitters—green, pink, and blue—that all dries down to a gritty, textured finish.

Ok, I'm totally in love with this one! It's so sparkly and pretty, and the texture really enhances the multi-colored glitters in here. The formula is flawless. Each coat goes on smoothly, with the glitters and texture particles distributing evenly across the nails. And two coats is all you need for total opaque coverage. :)

I think overall, this collection has quite a few gems. Of my picks, my absolute must-haves are Peace & Love & OPI and Alcatraz... Rocks. Now that you've seen my picks from this collection, I'd love to know yours. Which colors will be making it into your stash?

You can find Alcatraz... Rocks at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

  1. This one is super nice indeed! :D I haven't seen something like it yet, so I think it's one of my faves of the collection. Which, sadly, does not count many more...

  4. Hi love!

Wow this is a beautiful polish! I LOVE it! I like how you said that it goes on easily and distributes evenly. I wonder if it will still be hard to remove like all the other glitter polishes?

Thank you for coming by my blog and for the support! <3 Liz

    1. Hi Liz! :) Yay I'm so glad you like this! It's a fav of mine from the collection. As far as removal, it's about as hard as any other matte glitter to get off, so easier than a traditional glitter polish, but harder than a non-glitter. :)

  6. This is an absolute stunner. I love it. If I didn't have a dupe for it I'd most definitely buy this one first, maybe with Muir, Muir on the Wall if it is really as gorgeous as it looks on you.

  13. I'm going to be do bold and say that Alcatraz prolly does not "rock". But, I really, really like this polish... Might be one of OPI's prettiest textureds. I find myself amused that there's now a nail polish out there named for a prison, lolol.

    1. Yay I'm glad you like this, Liesl! It's such a stunning texture polish! :)
Haha it is weird to name a polish after a prison, but Alcatraz is so famous, with tv shows named after it. Don't think we'd ever see a polish named after Gitmo.
