Hi, you guys! :) Is it really only Thursday? It feels like it should have been Friday like two days ago lol.
Today, I've got another of my picks from the China Glaze Autumn Nights Collection to share with you. Tongue & Chic is a dark, cool-toned, teal green with a metallic finish.
This is another one of those blackened-around-the-edges colors that manages to look both rich and dark at the same time. The formula is great. It's thin enough to afford lots of control, making application easy. It's also pigmented, so you need just one coat for total coverage. And since the shimmers are subtle, it dries without any streak marks. The only negative is that, as usual with colors this dark, you can get a little bit of staining upon removal, but it's gone after a few hand washings.
You can find Tongue & Chic at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7 for 0.5 fl oz.

Staining....ah, just put another polish over it :) Another pretty one!
ReplyDeleteHaha yes exactly, Essie! :D
DeleteNow this one I like! :D I am not into the previous ones much (except the red one) but this one is sexyyy!
ReplyDeleteIt's very sexy and bold, no doubt about it! I'm glad you're a fan! :D
DeleteOoooh, this one is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think so too! :D
DeleteI love this colors and I'm usually not into darks but this is really pretty
ReplyDeleteYay I'm so glad you like it! It's dark, but still vibrant. :)
DeleteA one-coater you say? That's very nice. I just worry that it is too similar to Emerald Fitzgerald, and I have too many similar polishes to that one.
ReplyDeleteI love one-coaters too! So quick and easy to apply, especially when you're in a hurry. :) I don't have EF myself, but it does look like it's pretty close from swatches.
DeleteThis looks like such a midnight blue, it's gorgeous! However, I feel it's a coulour best suited to nights out and halloween :) x
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it! For me, I like wearing dark colors like this on sunny days so that the shimmers shine through. :)
DeleteUnfortunately it is Thursday, I am so much behind LOL - wish it was Monday ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this one as well, but I think you know :)
Lol, I know what you mean. There's just not enough time in a day. :)

I'm so glad you like this! This one's a must-have if you love dark vampy colors. :)
DeleteThis is a gorgeous color! It kind of reminds me of their other polish, Emerald Fitzgerald. I would totally put up with the staining.
