Priti NYC Chrysanthos

I have an exciting collection to show you in the next few days. I have been eyeing Priti NYC's Heavy Medal for London 2012 Collection ever since I first saw it, and now I finally have them in my hands to try! Today, I'm starting off the collection with Chrysanthos, a yellow gold metallic foil.

Just look at that gorgeous yellow gold color! It is balanced shade, with enough yellow in it to be rich and colorful, but is light enough so that it is not overly yellow. In my mind, it closely resembles the color of 10 carat yellow gold. It is a classy way to wear gold nails and should be universally flattering on all skin tones.

The formula on this polish is perfection. It goes on smooth and buttery, without any pooling or lumping. The first coat leaves some bald spots, as is typical of foils, but the second coat fills in everything and reaches opacity. You can see some streaks in the pictures, but they are barely noticeable in person and do not detract from the beauty of this polish. :-)

You can find Chrysanthos as part of the Heavy Medal Collection of four polishes on PritiNYC.com for $37.50, or as an individual bottle for $12.50 for 0.43 fl oz.

  3. I would wear that for work, it reminds me of one of my faves of all times: Zoya Jules :)

    1. Yes, you are right, it is similar to Zoya Jules. I think Jules is a bit more taupe, but they come from the same metallic/foil family. :-)

  4. This one is also very pretty but although I usually prefer the gold over the silver, in this case I think the silver is prettier!

    1. I'm glad you think this color is pretty. For me, I prefer the gold just a little more, I think because it goes better with my skin tone. :-)
