Priti NYC Old Man Cactus

Hi everyone! Today I am continuing with Priti NYC's Heavy Medal for London 2012 Collection, and I have Old Man Cactus to show you. It is a silver gray with tons of foil particles in a metallic finish.

I just wanted to add that this name made me giggle. My husband commented that the name is funny, and I told him that it reminds me of him: old, grumpy and prickly lol! :D

This is another gorgeous and densely-packed foil from the collection. Once on the nails, the silver is so shimmering and metallic, it looks almost like liquid silver. I think if you are looking for an attention-grabbing way to wear silver, Old Man Cactus is for you! :-)

The formula is superb. It goes on so smooth and buttery, and is opaque after two coats. Even though it's a metallic, it isn't streaky and the brush strokes are barely noticeable, probably due to how densely packed the foil particles are. Dry time is pretty quick, so you don't have to wait more than a minute or two between coats.

You can find Old Man Cactus as part of the Heavy Medal Collection of four polishes on PritiNYC.com for $37.50, or as an individual bottle for $12.50 for 0.43 fl oz.

  4. I LOVE the name! And so cute that your DH is Old Man Cactus. ;) I absolutely love silver foils, but it's going to take a lot to dethrone Zoya Trixie. ;)

  7. Such an intense and shimmery silver foil :) I know what you mean about it appearing like liquid silver - that's often the effect/look of a really good foil polish!
