China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On

Hi you guys! It's unusually sunny outside today, so I'm going to write this real fast and then head out to enjoy the sunshine. :-)

Today, I've got another of my picks from the China Glaze Avant Garden Collection to share with you. Keep Calm, Paint On is a light, minty, seafoam green with soft silver shimmers.

Color-wise, this is by far my favorite from the collection. It's just such a fresh and lovely spring green, and the name really speaks to me. I think I sometimes rely on nail polish as a crutch to get me through the craziness of life lol. The formula is good for the most part. It goes on thin, with a slight tendency to pool around the edges of the nail. The first coat is streaky, but the second evens everything out and reaches opacity.

You can find Keep Calm, Paint On at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7 for 0.5 fl oz.

  14. Really love this color. I just got Zoya Neely. Which do you like better, Neely or this one?! I think I like the non-shimmer of Neely but I don't have this one yet...though I'm a sucker for light greens so we shall see!

    1. I really like both because I'm a huge fan of greens! The two are pretty different, so it depends on your preference: cream (Neely) vs. shimmer (Keep Calm); green that leans more yellow (Neely) vs. green that leans more teal (Keep Calm). I think if you love light greens, you probably will enjoy having both. Hope that helps! :-)

  17. Beautiful shade. Do you think is similar to Essie minty candy apple ?

    1. I'm glad you like this! I don't have Mint Candy Apple, so I can't say for sure. I do know MCA is a creme, whereas this is a shimmer. MCA also seems more pigmented, whereas Keep Calm seems softer. Hope that helps. :-)
