China Glaze Mimosa's Before Mani's

Hi you guys! Hope you all had lovely and relaxing weekends! :-)

Today, continuing with the China Glaze Avant Garden Collection, I've got another of my picks to share with you. Mimosa's Before Mani's is a bright peachy coral with soft golden shimmers.

Overlooking the awful grammar in the name, this is a lovely summer color, so bright and cheerful! It appears have a pinker tint to the coral in the bottle, but it goes onto the nails more orange and slightly darker. The golden shimmers are soft but definitely noticeable if you look closely, though my personal bias always has me wishing for more prominent shimmers. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, reaching opaque coverage in two coats.

You can find Mimosa's Before Mani's at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7 for 0.5 fl oz.

  3. It's gorgeous on you - I left it behind, peachy colors are not good for my skin tone LOL

  5. I love the names in this collection, ill-placed apostrophes notwithstanding. Maybe I just have a weakness for mimosas, lol. My weekend was anything but relaxing, but it was fun, though I can't party hearty/hardy anymore. I saw a meme the other day-- Welcome to your 30s, where every weekend's a baby shower and the hangovers last for two days... Well, that's close enough to the truth, lol.

    1. Haha I know what you mean. I haven't gotten to the baby showers yet, but I've definitely cut down on drinking. One is really all I can handle now-a-days. When I try to stretch it to two, I always end up feeling queasy after. Getting old lol. :D

  7. Hah- I agree about the name! I don't understand how no one corrects it before they print the labels. That said, it's definitely a pretty shade! :D

  8. Peachy shades don't look very well on my nails but I quite like to see it in you're nails :)
