Butter London Bobby Dazzler

Good morning! I got a bunch of nail mail yesterday, and today I'm suppose to be getting several packages of clothes, so it's shaping up to be quite a nice two days lol. :-)

Today I've got another of the polishes from the Butter London Summer Holiday 2013 Collection to share with you. Bobby Dazzler is a silver metallic that dries to a mirror-like chrome finish.

Ah, the formula on this is soooo good! It goes onto the nails smoothly and evenly, but with a lot of pigmentation. In fact, I needed just one coat for total opaque coverage and that's what you see in the swatches! You'll always see some streaks with a finish like this, but it's as little as I could expect, and they mostly disappear once the polish is dry.

There's a softness to this silver; it's not as harsh and cold as some silvers can be. I don't generally wear silver metallics because they tend to clash with my skin tone, but this color is quite flattering. I'm happy I've finally found a silver that works for me. :-)

You can find Bobby Dazzler on butterlondon.com and at select retailers such as Nordstrom and Ulta for $15 for 0.4 fl oz.

  5. Omg, Yun! This is beautiful but such a dangerous post for those on a polish budget, boo! Your right about it being a soft silver, I find really cold silvers bring out any redness in my hands. I've been lemming for a mirror like finish for ages ~ Color club's metallic silver is great but its just so streaky. Great post :D

    1. Hehe thanks so much! Yes, I know what you mean... cold silvers make my fingers look really red and yellow at the same time haha. I'm glad you like this color! :-)
