OPI Chic From Ears To Tail

Hi you guys! I just got the nastiest paper cut... arrg. It hurt like crazy, but the first thing I thought of was thank goodness it's not on my swatching hand lol.

Today, I want to kick off the five-polish OPI Couture de Minnie Collection. First up is Chic From Ears To Tail, your typical light barbie-pink creme with just a scattering of subtle shimmers.

First of all, I thought this name is just sooo cute hehe! As you guys may know, I have a pet chinchilla, so I'm undeniably partial to all cute rodent references. :D

While this has shimmers, I would say it's mostly a creme. The shimmers are pretty faint, and you'll only see them if the light hits just right. The formula is ok for the most part. It was still a little thin and streaky at two coats, so I did have to do a third coat to even everything out.

You can find Chic From Ears To Tail at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

    1. I'm glad you like the color! Bummer of the OPI prices where you are though. :( I was in Europe last year and I saw how expensive OPIs were over there... like more than $20 a bottle, so I guess it's similar in Australia. :(

  8. Thin and sheer doesn't sound like my kind of polish - but it's looking great nonetheless! :)

  9. It's a chinchilla!!! Of course! They're soooo adorable. We thought about getting one but decided on another cat, instead. They're just the cutest things, though... I hear they're nocturnal? Pretty, pretty pink, too, and the name is super cute :)

  10. What a fun name - and the color is so delicate - but sheer is not my thing either...
Paper cuts - hate them :(

    1. Hehe I do. He's the little rodent in my banner. :-) I think Minnie's colors are pink and red, so OPI's staying true to that with the collections. :-)
