Barielle One Shade of Gray

Happy Monday, you guys! Hope your week is off to a rousing start! :-)

A while ago, Barielle came out with their fall collection comprised of 10 new shades, and this week I've got my picks from that set to share with you. First up is One Shade of Gray which, as the name implies, is a medium gray with a creme finish.

The name made me giggle slightly. Though I haven't read the books, I've certainly heard of them, and I thought the name is quite clever and appropriate. :-) While this appears as mostly a steel gray, it does have some taupe and lilac undertones that can show up in certain lightings. The formula is great. It is smooth and thin, and opaque in just two quick coats.

You can find One Shade of Gray on Barielle.com for $8 for 0.45 fl oz, though there is an ongoing sale for buy one get one 50% off; or as part of the Runaway Fever kit of five polishes for $25.

  1. I love grays and this is definitely a gorgeous one!
I wonder though, how close is it to the gray from China Glaze Safari collection...?
Anyway I can't wait to see the other shades you picked of this collection!!!

    1. They are pretty different. Just in the bottle side-by-side, you can see that One Shade leans lilac while Elephant Walk leans green/teal. Also Elephant Walk has fine shimmers while One Shade is a creme. Hope that helps! :-)
