Hi, you guys! Hope your week is off to a happy start! :)
Today, I wanted to show you another fun glitter from the China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Collection. Be Merry, Be Bright is a glitter polish filled with magenta and purple small to medium glitters all in a sheer base.
The application is a little tricky, as the glitters have a tendency to clump together. If you apply using traditional strokes, the glitters will stick to each other and all move as a clump from cuticle to free edge. I had better success dabbing the polish onto the nails, as that allowed for good glitter distribution and coverage. The glitters are plentiful, so I did just one coat of it on Santa Red My List for the swatches.
You can find Be Merry, Be Bright at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

This is a cute one! I also like Santa Red My List as your base :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm glad you like the combo! :)
DeleteGorgeous, got this one myself to. :)
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm glad you got this one too! :)
DeleteThis is a really pretty combination of glitters, I really like what China Glaze has been doing with glitters lately!
ReplyDeleteMe too. It looks like they're really trying for some unique combination of glitters, and it's great to see from a mainstream polish company. :)
DeleteI like the different sizes of glitter. It looks like top coat eater, though, which I don't like.
ReplyDeleteHehe, I think being a top coat eater is inevitable with some of these chunkier glitters. It doesn't bother me much; I just add on an extra coat or two of top coat. :)
DeleteHi Yun - just so sparkly and pretty on you :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christine! :)
DeleteI actually really like this--it's not as dark as I imagined from the bottle.
ReplyDeleteNot at all, it's quite bright and happy. I'm glad you like it. :)
DeleteI like this, it reminds me of candy!
ReplyDeleteHehe I'm glad you like it! :)

DeleteCute polish! I haven't tried mine yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think you'll really like it when you get around to trying yours. :)
DeleteIt looks really pretty, too bad the glitters tend to clump a bit!
ReplyDeleteYea it's a little clumpy, but I didn't mind too much. :)
DeleteVery nice, but if the glitters clump I'm glad i didn't get it :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a little clumpy, but I didn't find it to be too bad. :)
