China Glaze Mosaic Madness

Hi you guys! Today, I've got the last of my picks from the China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'n Pieces Collection to share with you. Mosaic Madness is the blue and black one from the collection, comprised of a mix of small, medium, and large round and hexagon blue and black pieces, as well as some black bar glitters, all in a sheer base.

The mix of glitters in Mosaic Madness is similar to the other ones in the collection, just with blue glitters instead of a different color. In the swatches, I paired one coat of the glitter over Sunday Funday. It's a fun combination, but I think the blue base color is too close to the color of the blue glitters, so the blue glitters don't pop as much as they could.

This being the third one I tried from the collection, I finally figured out how to reliably get those big pieces of glitter onto the brush. Instead of dipping the brush into the bottle between nails (as I would do for other polishes), I find swirling it in a circle in the polish helps the bristles grab onto the big glitter pieces, which then makes it easier to get them onto the nails. :-)

Hope you've enjoyed my picks from the China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'n Pieces Collection! :-) It's fun to see mainstream polish brands starting to come out with the more interesting glitters that indie brands have been doing for some time. Be sure to let me know what you think of this collection and if any will be making its way to you in the comments below.

You can find Mosaic Madness at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7 for 0.5 fl oz.
