Hi, you guys! Hope your week is going well and you're enjoying the peak of summer! :)
It looks like fall is already invading though, at least with the new polish collections. I've got the first of the fall collections to share with you this week—the Zoya Fall PixieDust Collection. First up today is Tomoko, a soft champagne silver with tons of sparkly silver glitters that dry to a textured matte glitter finish.
I'm quite smitten with Tomoko, to tell the truth. It's just the prettiest combination of color and sparkliness! The formula is lovely, too. It's smooth and easy to apply, with the glitters and texture particles distributing evenly across the nails. Two coats gives sufficient coverage. You can still see a tiny amount of nail line at that point, but the polish is so sparkly that it's hardly visible, so I stopped there for the swatches above and am quite happy with the results. With how festive and sparkly this polish is, I just can't wait to bring it out during the holiday season.
You can find Tomoko on Zoya.com for $9 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.

This is a gorgeous Pixie Dust. I love champagnes like this, but they look beyond lousy on me. Looks pretty on you though! And it does look like Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa! Thanks, I'm glad you like it on me, at least. I know what you mean about some colors not looking good on oneself. I'm that way with teals, unfortunately. :)
DeleteYou are right, this would look great during the holiday season! Great post!
ReplyDeleteThanks Essie, I'm glad you think so! :)
DeleteThis is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes, it really is. :)
Deletetomoko looks super pretty and sparkly. i like these types of champagne shades a lot.
ReplyDeleteI like champagne shades too. It's a softer way to wear silver. :)
DeleteIt's gorgeous! I wouldn't wear that right now, but it'd definitely look good for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to putting this on during the holidays. :)
DeleteThis looks great on you! It's such a gorgeous color.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm glad you like it! :)
DeleteSuch a perfect swatch! You are right, this seems perfect for the holidays. I bet it would be so pretty in a winter mani!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Oooh yes, it would look amazing as a winter mani paired with a fluffy sweater and boots. :)
DeleteThis is such a lovely glitter. Almost liquid sand-like but finer :) x
ReplyDeleteIt's really lovely! I'm glad you like it! :)
DeleteThat's an interesting and sparkly look, I like it! :)
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm glad you like this! :)
DeleteI was trying to avoid the total need for any fall polish (I know...I know....that's just an exercise in futility, LOL) but this one is calling my name. Too pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteHehe that is futile, as you should know. :P I'm glad you like this one! :)
DeleteThis is so so pretty! Would love to try this out.
ReplyDeleteI love this one! It is like sparkling snow, it is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt really is. I'm loving this one too! :)
DeleteThis is super-pretty! Everyone must be rushing to the Zoya site to look at the new collection, because I can't even get it to load for me!! :P
ReplyDeleteHehe I'm so glad you're loving this one! :D
DeleteHow does this compare to the other Zoya PixieDust Godiva?
ReplyDeleteHi Stacey! Godiva is a primarily beige nude with some subtle silver sparkles, whereas Tomoko is a very sparkly champagne silver. Though they are both light in color, they are quite different otherwise, so you need not worry about dupes if you were to get both. :)
DeleteI'm loving the look of this nail polish! It's so pretty (:
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm a big fan of this one too! :)
Deletethat is really gorgeous :) wow
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think this is gorgeous too! :)
DeleteSoooo pretty and elegant, this one. Fall is indeed invading but I'm trying to hold out at least till August... So many holos that need wearing, lol. I've been wondering how Tomoko compares to Godiva, too?
ReplyDeleteHehe I'm ok with fall invading in terms of fashion, as long as the summer weather holds out. ;) Tomoko and Godiva are quite different. Godiva is a beige nude with subtle sparkles, whereas Tomoko is a full-out sparkly champagne silver. Godiva can be categorized as a neutral whereas Tomoko is a festive glitter. Hope that helps! :)
DeleteOMG - this really IS amazing, and it looks so good on you, so I see why you love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Maria, I'm glad you approve! :)
DeleteThis is so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLovely shade and it looks very nice on you.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm glad you think so! :)
DeleteHi Yun - I love Tomoko and it looks so stylish and sophisticated on you!!! I love this shade as well for summer, to me this is perfect sevenities - classy gold and soft tan and something long, flowy, chiffony while lounging for a drink by the pool.... oh let me stop here, else I just might start feeling sorry for myself as I am tapping away here during my lunch break at my desk - ;-P
ReplyDeleteHi Christine! Thanks so much, I'm glad you like this! Hehe your vision is fantastic... it makes me want to transport myself to a pool and have a drink right now. :P
DeleteSo sparkly! You seem to be able to pull off pretty much every polish. I like how this is festive but still has an air of sophistication.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, I'm glad you like this! The color's exactly as you say... festive and sophisticated. :)
DeleteWhat an unique collection. been loving all the colors :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad... I'm really loving the colors from this collection too! :)
