OPI All Sparkly and Gold

Hi, you guys! Happy Halloween! Do you celebrate or plan to do anything fun? Lots of folks at my work bring their kids in for trick-or-treating in the afternoon, so I'm definitely looking forward to that. :D

Today, I've got another sparkly number from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection to share with you. All Sparkly and Gold is a medium slightly antique gold-colored glitter.

This is a really interesting shade of gold, and it's super sparkly and festive. Just like My Favorite Ornament, some of the glitter pieces in here are a little bigger than average, so they do a great job of catching the light as you move your hands, and there's a nice overall chunky look to it. I had no problems with application. Each coat went on evenly, with the glitters distributing well across the nail, and two coats is all you need for opaque coverage. It does dry a little gritty, on par with glitters like this, so you'll need top coat if you like a smooth finish.

You can find All Sparkly and Gold at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

  1. I am not usually super into golds but this one seems a little darker and more interesting than most that I see. Very pretty on you.

    1. Thanks, I'm really glad you like this. I think it's an interesting shade too. Less yellow and more edgy than your typical gold. :)

  10. That's a very pretty gold. I've always liked these types of golds over the ones that lean really yellow.

  14. Okay, not being a fan of Mariah Carey notwithstanding, so far this has everything a holiday collection ought to have, imo, which is lots of silver and gold and lots of sparkle. ♥
I had to work late so I bought a bag of candy to share with the kids who showed up at the pharm with their parents. DH handled all the trick or treaters by himself, again. I think I'll request the day off next year. It's a Friday and I want to be able to play, too, lol :)

    1. I'm loving the sparkle and festiveness of this collection too! :) Hehe you should definitely take the day off next year. I saw quite a few kids at work too. Then we got home from work at 7 and I was all ready to head out candy to trick-or-treaters, but none came lol.

  17. Hahaha!! Though this is from Holiday collection, the polish's antique gold hue sure made it the perfect sparkly gold to wear for Halloween! Really like how cozy this one feels, like knitted wear? Comfy! :)

    1. Hehe I'm glad you think so! I think the antique hue takes it out of the holidays and makes it fun to wear for the rest of the year as well, including Halloween. :)
