China Glaze Elfin' Around

Hi, you guys! :D

Gosh, it's really starting to feel like the holiday season now! Decorations are up everywhere and with Thanksgiving being this week, it means I can officially break out the holiday music without anyone giving me weird looks lol. I love pretty much everything about this time of the year, though my favorite is definitely getting time off from work... can't wait! My least favorite is probably how crazy it gets at the mall, with no place to park, long lines at checkout, and just general madness. What are your favorite/least favorite things about this time of year?

Today, I've got another festive shade from the China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Collection to share with you. Elfin' Around is a warm rusty red with hints of coral and pink in a shimmery foil metallic finish.

Oh my word, look how glowy this polish is! I just love warm reds like this, as they tend to look better on my skintone than cooler reds do. The formula and application is total perfection. It's smooth and even, without any streaking or clumping. And you need just one coat for total opaque coverage! This is definitely one of my favs from the collection, and probably my favorite red from this holiday season's offerings. :)

You can find Elfin' Around at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

  4. This looks beautiful on you! It reminds me of Zoya Tinsley without all the gold. My favorite part of the holiday season: tradtions (old and new) and the food. My least favorite part: modern-day singers massacring classic Christmas carols by seeing just how many superfluous notes they can stick in "Silent Night. " :D

    1. Holiday food ftw! And yes, I like my carols to be traditional too. That way I can sing along. It shouldn't become an exercise in vocal abilities lol. :D

  14. This looks so pretty, almost velvety! I'm trying to enjoy this time of the year more. I usually get stressed out about buying gifts but this year I took the bull by the horns and got all my shopping done early...online. I can't stand the madness at the stores either....I would never do Black Friday shopping. Not worth it to me. Have a great Thanksgiving and awesome vacation in December!

    1. Lol... some of the cars, they block the entire pathway or drive so slowly looking for a non-existent spot. Yikes! I'm glad you like this... it's one of my favs from the collection. :)
