OPI I Snow You Love Me

Happy Monday, you guys! :-)

Today, I've got a really interesting polish from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection to share with you. I Snow You Love Me is a clear polish with large round silver holographic glitters.

I did one coat of I Snow You Love Me over In My Santa Suit, but with how large the glitters are, you do have to do some finagling here. Unless you really dollop the polish on, the glitters are too sparse and too big to just show up. I think the best way is probably to use toothpicks and place them as you like on the nails. It ended up reminding me of dominoes lol. It's definitely an interesting and fun polish, but I wish there were also some smaller glitters in there to fill in in-between the big glitters.

You can find I Snow You Love Me at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

  1. Hmmmm, that's...just okay. Nothing I would really rush out to buy; it looks a little sparse or something. :P

  2. Nah. I'm not impressed with this polish. I like your mani though. It does look like dominoes or dice.

    1. Thanks, I'm glad you like the mani. I thought the large glitters went well with the red base. Ooh dice... yes, I didn't think of that, but you're right. :)

  3. Wow, those are some biiiiiiig glitter particles. A bit too much for me, I don't really like it.

    1. I can understand that. They glitters are really large, especially compared to the lack of anything else in this polish. :)

  4. I have this polish and it's gorgeous, but I'm not looking forward to the tricky application.

    1. Ah, I'm really glad you like this! The application isn't too bad with toothpicks. :)

  7. This one misses the mark for me. I agree with you that it needs a little something extra to fill it out.

    1. Yea, something else among the big glitters would add a lot to this.

  8. You're right...this needs some fill-in glitters too. Those things are humongous! It does look pretty over that red though.

  9. This looks beautiful! I agree that it would be nice to have some smaller glitters too though, it looks kind of awkward. Still a nice polish though!

  11. I really like the round glitters, but it sounds like too much of a hazzle to actually getting them onto the nails, Haha!! :D

    1. I'm glad you like the glitters in there. They aren't too bad if you use a toothpick. If you just use the brush to do it, it could take a while lol. :D

  12. It gave me Minnie Mouse vibes instantly - they are cute, but a little to large for me, especially if they are a bit of a hassle to work with :)

  13. Oh God NO! The red looks just fab but those sparse glitters that are hard to pick are just my glitter nightmare! Too bad OPI didn't work a little more on this one!

    1. I'm glad you like the red. :) Those glitters aren't too hard to work with if you use a toothpick, but it definitely takes a while if you just use the brush. I know from personal experience lol.

  14. These look like sequins on the nail! I can imagine it would be a bit of a nightmare in terms of application - the good ol' toothpick would certainly come in handy. But considering how sparse the glitter is and how difficult it would be to get an even coverage over the nail, I think I'll be passing on this one!

  17. I feel the same way as you too when I first saw the sneak peak of this collection-- it definitely would have been much nicer with smaller ones to fill in the gap (i might also prefer with medium sizes too, that would make this polish perfect!) Was going to give this a complete pass till I saw Marta used it in her manicures, as studs. I love the sparkly 3 dimension-ish the glitters in the bottle has! There seems to be a lot of people finding it not worth buying.. I'm still debating whether or not to get this... =/

Actually, I think I might just get this. The fact that those glitters looks like rhinestone really intrigues me. lol!

    1. Hehe I'm glad you like this one! I think it would be really nice for nail art if you don't want to use studs or rhinestones. If you end up getting this polish, I'd love to see what you come up with. :)

  18. Yep, they do look like dominos - good call! It has an indie quality to it. Very cool looking but probably too much work that I am willing to put into it.

  19. The glitters looks really interesting but they are quite big. Wondering if it is easier to apply like this or to use loose glitter / glequins. Interesting post. thank you

    1. It's definitely a unique polish. It's not too bad using a toothpick to apply, but using loose sequins isn't a bad idea either. :)
