China Glaze All Wrapped Up

Hi, you guys! Hope your week is going well. :)

I wanted to close out the China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Collection today with the last, but definitely not least, of the set. All Wrapped Up is filled with small indigo blurple shimmers and glitters in a sheer base.

The formula is the same as the other two similar glitters in the collection (Put A Bow On It and This Is Tree-mendous). The first coat is a little sheer and patchy, but it builds up nicely to opaque coverage in three coats. I thought this one had an easier application than the other two, but I could just be getting used to the formula. :)

Now that I've tried the whole collection, I must say that I really enjoyed this set. There are colors for everyone, from those who enjoy traditional shades to those who want something a little more original. If I had to pick favorites, I'd say I really love the bright foils, especially So Blue Without You and Elfin' Around. What do you guys think? Which are your must-haves from this collection?

You can find All Wrapped Up at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

  3. This one is pretty too, almost icy. I really liked the foils in this collection from your swatches but the only polish I've picked up so far is Your Present Required.

  8. Such a lovely shade. I think we've seen quite a few of similar yet different gittery blurple-navy polishes and to me they were all gorgeous.

  18. I only have this All Wrapped Up and There's snow one like you but I love both of them. Didn't knew AWU would have a matte finish and surprisingly I really liked that :D There's snow one like you is difficult but unique and perfect for this season. It's a love-hate relationship haha Probably gonna get more from this collection though =)

    1. It's not too matte in person, but it is gritty. For the swatches, I didn't top coat, so it would be more glossy if you do. :) Though I agree the gritty look is so pretty. Hehe love-hate is a good way to describe There's Snow One Like You. ;)

  19. This is beautiful! I personally wasn't blown away by this collection but this is still a pretty color. The only one I got was This Is Tree-mendous but I never got around to wearing it during the holiday season.

  21. Gorgeous colour indeed!! Again, another colour that I had belittle only to be mesmerized when I saw it in person! Loving the shade! I almost got this one, but budget says no. So maybe next time! Hahaha, I love how you wrapped up China Glaze nail polish review with All Wrapped Up!! No other polish would have fit the role better! ;)

One of my lament this (or last.. haha!!) Christmas, was I couldn't find a colour that says Christmas in a bottle! Something like CG Party Hearty. Hope they can bring that back, or something similar for Christmas 2014! :)

    1. Wrapping up the collection review with "All Wrapped Up" was totally coincidental, but I'm always happy to take credit lol. :D I think this Christmas collection was less traditional in terms of colors than past ones, which I really like, but the downside is that there was no Party Hearty-equivalent. There's always next year. :)
