China Glaze Just Be-Claws

Happy Thursday! Hope the week is going well for you! :)

Today, I've got another festive shade from the China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Collection to share with you. Just Be-Claws is your quintessential holiday ruby red with a shimmery foil metallic finish.

You really can't go wrong with a traditional red like this. It's so shimmery and festive, perfect for this time of the year. It's not the most original shade of red, but it's a great one to have if you don't already have another like it. The application is smooth and even, just like all the other shimmery foils from this collection. I did two quick coats for the swatches, but I think you can get away with just one.

Overall, I'm really impressed with the selection of reds from this collection. There's a red for everyone: Just Be-Claws if you want a traditional holiday red, Santa Red My List if you want a cooler pink red, and Elfin' Around if you want a warmer coral red. And all three have just the most excellent formulas. It's been a while since I've been excited about reds, but this is definitely among my favorite polish offerings from this holiday season.

You can find Just Be-Claws at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

    1. Thanks, the slight difference is probably due to the lighting and our individual skintones. :)

  6. Hi Yun - oh another beauty!!! You wear those reds so well! In my opinion, there isn't always a need for re-inventing the wheel, those timeless shades have so much classy and I am glad that they don't disappear next to all the textures, temperature sensitive or glowing in the dark polishes <3

  16. So I know I've said how much I need/have developed a sudden love for a red like this on every single red foil/metallic you've posted this year but this one takes the cake-- a beautiful, classic, vibrant and saturated true red. And your statement of there being a red in this collection for everyone is proof of why it is, in fact, lol, necessary for the big brands (OPI, lolol) to release multiple shades of red in each holiday collection, despite how old it gets to some folks. It never gets old for me, lol. I love seeing the nuances in each.
