OPI GoldenEye

Continuing with OPI's Skyfall Collection, today I have one of two glitter polishes from the collection to show you. GoldenEye is densely packed with small gold glitters in a sheer base.

I didn't have any trouble with application. The glitters spread out easily enough without much coaxing. You need one thin coat followed by one thicker coat, or three thin coats for even coverage and opacity. Dry time is a little slower for this polish, typical of this type of glitter, since the formula is slightly thicker to keep all the glitters nicely suspended in the base.

In my opinion, GoldenEye is one of the standouts of the Skyfall Collection. It looks shimmery and sparkly in the bottle, but it really wow-ed me when I put it on. The glitters have this flat, generously chunky look once on the nails, so that it resembles beaten gold sheet metal. It is totally gorgeous! :-)

You can find GoldenEye at your local nail salons and beauty stores for $8.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

    1. Hehe I had the same issue with a few colors, but then I just said I don't care and wore them anyways. Some colors are too pretty not to wear! :P

    1. I'm glad you like it, Julz! No, not harder than any other glitter but definitely harder than a cream or metallic. You should be fine if you use the foil method. :-)

    1. Hmm I'm not sure. It's glitter, so I'm guessing probably not as well as shimmers/foils.
