Butter London Cheeky Chops

Hi, you guys! Happy Tuesday! :-)

Recently, Butter London released the bright Pop Art trio, which featured two existing colors (Cheeky Chops and Primrose Hill Picnic) and a brand new color (Keks). Unfortunately, Butter London PR was all out of Keks, but I do have the other two colors to share with you. Starting off today is Cheeky Chops, a bright fun canary yellow with a creme finish.

The formula is quite fantastic, especially considering it's a yellow. The first coat is streaky, but the second coat did a lot to fill in almost everything. I did a third coat for the swatches just to be extra sure because the camera tends to pick up every little imperfection, but you probably can get away with just two coats if you are wearing it. That's pretty darn awesome for a yellow! :-)

You can find Cheeky Chops on butterlondon.com and at select retailers such as Nordstrom and Ulta for $15 for 0.4 fl oz.

  9. Love the yellow! Funny how yellows used to be a 'colour to avoid wearing' on me. But since finding the first yellow that looks great on nails, it's like a whole new world opened up with more beautiful yellows to wear! Simply wonderful! :)

  12. I love bright fun canary yellows with a creme finish and this one looks awesome. Especially since it seems I might finally be able to get some BL polishes here in my little pit of despair.
I think that these paler or more pastel shades of yellow suit you really well.

  18. This is such a great shade! I like that it is more of a banana tone than a neon or pineapple. It's a little more of a sophisticated way to wear a bold colour.
