Zoya FeiFei

Today I have FeiFei, one of the more anticipated polishes from Zoya's Fall 2012 Diva Collection, to show you. As it turns out, I was almost unable to write this post. I showed this polish to one of my friends before I had finished swatching, and she tried to borrow it. The last time she "borrowed" a polish from me, I have not seen it again since. :P

FeiFei's base is a cool steel blue that is slightly sheer. It contains tons of those big smooth-to-the-touch micro-glitters that Zoya does so well. The sparkling colors of the glitters remind me of the shifting colors of fish scales: gold, silver, blue, and pink. They are clearly visible both in the bottle and on the nails. No sparkles disappearing into the base here.

The formula is just a tad bit thicker than ideal. It results in thicker coats, some pooling around the edges of the brush strokes, and a slightly longer dry time. But that doesn't affect application too much, and I think some thinner should fix that right up. What you see in the pictures is two coats, but a third coat won't hurt if you want total opacity.

You can find FeiFei on Zoya.com for $8 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 total and free shipping! Info is HERE.

  2. Gorgeous! I keep thinking I'll get either Feifei or Daul, but I'll probably get both, lol. Honestly, I'd be hard pressed to loan out any of my polishes. If peeps want to try them while they're still in my house in my sight, that's fine. lol.

    1. Hmmm yes, it would be hard to decide between FeiFei and Daul. Both are unique and pretty. Teehee. I only have one friend who loves polish as much as I do, so I am happy to share. She just has to wait until I am done swatching. :-)

    1. Thanks, I'm glad you like it! It's a bit of a hard polish to capture, because it's made up of so many different colors. I think you would like it even more in person. :-)

  7. I am on the fence with this one. I think I have to see a bottle in the store before I decide.

    1. Hopefully there is a store near you that carries Zoya. I know Ulta is suppose to have the new fall colors in their stores. :-)

  8. This.Polish.Is.Beautiful. I'm glad they found something surprising! I thought it reminded me of Chanel's Graphite at first, and then I saw the different shimmers... Wow. I would even wear that at work! ^^
