Happy weekend! Hope yours is fabulous! We're having a heat wave for a few days, so after I finish this post, I'm going to find a cool place to hide out. :-)
I'm really excited to have received a few Priti NYC polishes to share with you. Today, I'll start off with Horned Poppy, a soft daffodil yellow with subtle silver shimmers in a pearly finish.
Horned Poppy was originally released as part of the four-polish Priti NYC Turkish Sorbet Spring 2012 Collection. It's a flattering and wearable yellow, soft and not too saturated. Like most yellows, it's a little thin and streaky on the first coat, but builds up to even and opaque coverage in three coats. I'm really liking Horned Poppy, both for its color and its formula, and it earns a spot as one of my favorite yellows. :-)
You can find Horned Poppy on PritiNYC.com for $13.50 for 0.43 fl oz, and you can use the code PRITISPECIAL for 10% off valid until August 1st.

Priti NYC Red Maple
Hi, you guys! Hope those of you on the east coast are keeping safe and warm through the winter storm. <3
I just received a few polishes from Priti NYC, and I'm super excited to share them with you. Today I'll start off with Red Maple, a bright pink-coral with a creme finish.
Red Maple was originally released as part of the four-polish Priti NYC's Turkish Sorbet Spring 2012 Collection. The formula is thin and even, and applies well without any issues. It is opaque in two coats, and drying time is nice and quick.
This color is quite bright on the nails, and I love that! Depending on the lighting, you'll see more pink, coral, or even a bit of orange. If you have warmer tones in your skin, I think this will show up more orange for you; if you are cooler, you'll probably see more pink.
You can find Red Maple on PritiNYC.com for $13.50 for 0.43 fl oz.

Priti NYC Lungwort
Hi you guys!
I have just received a few lovely polishes from Priti NYC, and I am so excited to share them with you. Today I'll start off with the most cheerful, summery one. Lungwort is a bright, pastel aqua with a creme finish, and it was originally released as part of Priti NYC's Turkish Sorbet Spring 2012 Collection.
This has a wonderfully smooth and buttery formula. It goes onto the nails easily without any pooling, lumping, or dragging. The first coat is a little streaky, but it all evens out and is opaque with the second coat.
While a lot of the pastels I have seen lately have been on the more muted and dusty side, this pastel is unapologetically bright. I love that the color just jumps out at me from the nails. As we approach the colder winter months, I think I will be wearing this one quite a lot to ward off the winter blues. :-)
You can find Lungwort on PritiNYC.com for $12.50 for 0.43 fl oz.
