Ah ha, so I haven't been imagining it! This summer has indeed been hotter than usual. On average, we've been running about five degrees warmer every day for the month of July. Yikes! And the trend's continuing so far for August. You can be sure I am counting down the days to fall. :P
In the meantime, I'm taking full advantage by wearing tons of brights and neons, which is one of my favorite nail polish trends. And today, I've got one such collection I've really been enjoying to show you. Priti NYC's Australia Summer Collection is comprised of four intense, bright colors, perfect for this sweltering weather. :)

OPI Neons Collection - Summer 2014
Hi, you guys! Hope you're in the midst of a great week! :) I had a long holiday weekend, which went by way too fast as usual, and I made the mistake of doing too much. So I came out of it really exhausted and just spent yesterday in a daze trying to recover and mentally get back to work. :P
Today, I've got the new Neons by OPI Collection to share with you. This set of six bright shades are the first full-size neons that OPI is adding to its permanent collection. (About time, yep!) If you guys know me, you know I love neons, so you can imagine my sheer excitement here. Just a quick note: a white base was released with this collection, but all the swatches below are without it (more on that below). But enough jibber jabber... here are the colors! :D

Zoya Bubbly Collection - Summer 2014
Hi, you guys! Hope your weekend's fantastic and full of sunshine! :)
Zoya has some of my favorite summer-time collections with their bright shades and interesting finishes, so I was really looking forward to what they have up their sleeves this year, and they did not disappoint. This year's Bubbly Collection features six dazzling shades with tons of shimmers and holographic glitter particles in squishy, jelly-like, glass fleck finishes.

KBShimmer Spring 2014 Collection - My Picks!
Hi, you guys! Hope your week is going well! :) It's finally starting to feel like spring over here. It was actually sunny yesterday, with blue skies! Of course I was stuck inside at work because it was a weekday, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm just getting over a pretty miserable cold. It had me good for two weeks and I'm still coughing a little, but I'm thankful to be back to feeling mostly normal and sleeping through the night again. :)
Today, I've got my picks from the new KBShimmer Spring 2014 Collection. It's a large collection of 16 polishes consisting of a variety of finishes—glitters, holos, and cremes. It's a fun set of colors and finishes, sure to have something to satisfy whatever you love. For me, four totally stood out and made my heart sing, so I wanted to share those with you.

KBShimmer Snow Much Fun
Hi, you guys! Happy Thursday! :D
Today, I've got another cute polish from the KBShimmer Winter Collection to share with you. Snow Much Fun—a blogger collaboration with The Manicurator—is a light blue jelly filled with blue holographic and white glitters in a variety of sizes ranging from small shimmers to large white snowflakes.
Ah, this is wintry and super cute on the nails, especially with those big white snowflakes. :) Due to its jelly finish, I did three coats by itself, but you can wear this over a complementary base as well. The polish is easy to apply and self-leveling, and it has great glitter density. The large snowflakes are a little tricky to find and place on the nails, but it wasn't too bad overall.
You can find Snow Much Fun at KBShimmer.com for $8.75 and HarlowandCo.org for $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

KBShimmer Christmas Now
Happy hump day, you guys! :-)
Today, I've got another color from the KBShimmer Winter Collection to show you. Christmas Now—a blogger collaboration with Crystal's Crazy Combos—is a green jelly filled with lots of colorful glitters, including small and medium white square glitters, small and medium pink, gold, and blue round glitters, and larger gold star glitters.
This is such a fun mix of colors and glitter shapes, and highlights the playful side of the holidays. Application is relatively easy. Even though there are medium and larger glitters in here, there's enough glitter density that I didn't have to go fishing. I was easily able to get a good mix of the different glitters, including the big gold stars, to right where I want them. Since this is a jelly, each coat goes on a little more sheer, so you'll need three coats or you can apply it over a base.
You can find Christmas Now at KBShimmer.com for $8.75 and HarlowandCo.org for $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

KBShimmer Where My Peeps At
Hi, you guys! Hope your week is treating you well! :-)
Today I've got another of the polishes I picked up from KBShimmer's anniversary sale to share with you. Where My Peeps At is a creamy pastel yellow filled with magenta, blue, green, light pink, and yellow medium and micro round glitters.
This has got to be one of the cutest polish I've ever seen. I love the bright, colorful combination of glitters, and the name is just awesome. As usual with KBShimmer glitters, this has a great formula. I did three coats to achieve total coverage, and the glitters spread out easily with each coat. I find with glitters like this, the cleanest way to apply is to do a thin first layer to mark the edges of the paint job without worrying about getting any glitters down, then use coats two and three to build up coverage and glitter density.
You can find Where My Peeps At at KBShimmer.com for $8.75 and HarlowandCo.org for $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

KBShimmer Lottie Dottie
Hi, you guys! Happy Monday! :-) I'm still off from work today and feeling incredibly lazy, so I'm happy to have finally finished this post lol.
KBShimmer had their anniversary sale over the summer, which provided the perfect opportunity for me to pick up some polishes I've been eyeing, and I've got one of those to share with you today. Lottie Dottie has a white jelly creme base filled with blue and pink round reflective glitters, micro dots, and mini slices of bar glitters.
I really like Lottie Dottie. The blue and pink is such a fun mix of colors and they really pop against the white base. :-) This has a great formula. The base spreads out easily. Each coat has excellent glitter payoff with the glitters distributing evenly, so there is no need for fishing or finagling. I used three coats for the swatches for total coverage.

KBShimmer You Go Ghoul!
Hi, you guys! Gosh, what a crazy busy week it's turning out to be. I'll be glad when Friday rolls around. I feel like I've definitely earned my keep this week. :)
Today, I've got the last of the colors I've received from the KBShimmer Fall 2013 Collection to share with you. You Go Ghoul! is a black jelly with tons of orange, pink, and purple hexagon and small bar glitters.
Ah this is another stunning polish from the collection, I must say! I think I've found my Halloween polish for this year. :) The formula is great, with a surprisingly good amount of coverage for a jelly. The glitters in here spread out evenly across the nails, making application a breeze. It looked pretty good already at two coats, but I added a third coat for the swatches just to get a little extra pigmentation and glitter density.
Now that I've shown you all the colors I have from the collection, I have to say that I'm having a really tough time picking out favorites from the set. Usually it's easy for me to point to a few that I really love, but this collection is full of of unique, beautiful, and fall-appropriate colors. What's a girl to do except love 'em all? :D I'd love to know what you think of this collection. Were you more successful than me at picking out favorites? Any must-haves that will be joining your stash?
You can find You Ghoul! starting September 1st at KBShimmer.com for $8.75 and HarlowandCo.org for $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

KBShimmer Excuse Me, I Blurpled
Hi, you guys! We're half-way through the week already. Keep this up and it'll be the weekend in no time! :-)
Today, I've got another beautiful polish from the KBShimmer Fall 2013 Collection to share with you. Excuse Me, I Blurpled is a dark purplish blue jelly with tons of pink and blue hexagon and round glitters.
Does anyone else think the name is totally cute? hehe. The combination of blue and pink and purple is just so pretty. I love those colors together, so this is right up my alley. The first coat is a little thin, but I was amazed by the magic of the second coat. It filled in everything and added a great amount of glitter density, achieving total opacity. And since this is a dark blue, I'm happy to report that there is no staining upon removal. :-)
You can find Excuse Me, I Blurpled starting September 1st at KBShimmer.com for $8.75 and HarlowandCo.org for $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

KBShimmer Vicious Circles
Hi, you guys! Happy Sunday! :-) I just got up. I'm going to finish this post and then go in search of some breakfast. I'm hungrrrrry!
Today, I've got another fun polish from the KBShimmer Fall 2013 Collection to share with you. Vicious Circles is a red jelly loaded with large and medium round, small hexagon, and micro slices of silver reflective holographic glitters.
This polish is so sparkly in real life, with each of the glitters displaying a rainbow of colors due to their holographic nature. Unfortunately, my camera had some trouble picking up the rainbows on my nails, but rest assured that this is a disco party on the nails. :-) Due to the jelly nature of the finish, I did three coats for total coverage. The glitters build up nicely with each coat. The largest-sized round glitters can be a little elusive, but not too bad, and the end result is totally worth the little extra effort.
You can find Vicious Circles starting September 1st at KBShimmer.com for $8.75 and HarlowandCo.org for $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

Dollish Polish Expecto Patronum
Hi there! Hope you're having a great week so far! :-)
Today I've got a really special polish to share with you. Dollish Polish's Expecto Patronum is a white jelly filled with sparkly and reflective teal small-sized round and medium-sized hexagon glitters.
Being a huge Harry Potter fan myself, the name of this polish is what first attracted my attention. But once I saw what the polish actually looked like, I knew I had to get my paws on it. :-) Like its namesake, the polish is beautiful in a uplifting and ethereal way. It's delicate and lovely, not overpowering while still being interesting. It's just stunning, really! Even though I have a large collection and show a lot of polishes on this blog, it's always a joy when I get share with you a personal favorite mine. :-)
Expecto Patronum has a fantastic formula. There's plenty of glitters, so it's easy to apply evenly and achieve a uniform glitter distribution. Two coats ended up being all I need for great glitter density and overall coverage, and it's what you see in the swatches. As the polish dries down, you'll see that the white jelly becomes more mellow and translucent, so you may want to do an additional third coat if you like it more white.
You can find Expecto Patronum on Dollish Polish's Big Cartel site for $10 for the full-sized bottle of 0.5 fl oz and $5 for the mini-sized bottle of 0.3 fl oz.

Dollish Polish Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea?
Hi, you guys! Hope you're in the midst of a great weekend! :-)
Today, I've got my favorite from Dollish Polish's recent Cartoon Series to share with you. Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea? is comprised of small white and gold square and round glitters, medium blue round glitters, and large red star glitters, all in a white jelly.
I've been eyeing this ever since it first came out, and I was really happy to finally pick it up during Llarowe's recent Memorial Day sale. :-) I've been so into white jellies recently, and no one makes them quite like Dollish Polish. This white jelly is smooth and creamy, and builds up to the perfect translucency in just two coats. I'm loving the unique and fun combination of glitters and how they look peeking out from the milky base.
Application-wise, since this polish's glitters are more sparse, I found it helpful to turn the bottle upside down for 30 minutes or so before applying so that the glitters have a chance to distribute evenly in the bottle. The big red stars did take a lot of finagling to get onto the brush, but that's pretty standard for glitters of that size. I did manage to get one star on each finger and was quite happy with the result.
You can find Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea? on Dollish Polish's Big Cartel site for $10 for the full sized bottle of 0.5 fl oz, as well as at a few other retailers, such as Llarowe.

China Glaze Keepin' It Teal
Hi, you guys! Happy middle-of-the-week! :)
Today, I have another of the jellies from the China Glaze Sunsational Collection for you. Keepin' It Teal is a cool-toned, teal-leaning green with a squishy jelly finish.
It's thin and easy to apply, building up coverage evenly, if a bit slowly. What you see in the swatches is three coats, and it's decent coverage at that, though still a little sheer. If you want a more opaque finish, you'll probably want a fourth coat. This one isn't particularly neon or even that bright, but it's still a great color and it dries to a high-gloss shine. :)
You can find Keepin' It Teal at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7 for 0.5 fl oz.
