Hi, you guys! Hope you're having a great week! The weather here has been mercifully cool for the last few days. After the heatwaves we had, it's wonderful to have this refreshing change, even if it's just for a few days. It's so cool that I even got to wear pants! :D
Today, I've got the new six-piece Butter London Brick Lane Collection to share with you. This collection is an interesting mix of colors, finishes, and textures, so it feels like there's something for everyone. They come in a set with all six colors in 0.2 fl oz fashion sizes (which is what I am showing you), of which two are exclusive to this set.

Zoya Magical Pixie - PixieDust for Summer 2014
Hi, you guys! We're on like day 11 of a heat wave and the house has been so hot for so long that it's hard to get it cooled down. But relief is finally coming this weekend and I can't wait! I keep catching myself daydreaming about cool breezes on my face and sleeping beneath cool sheets. :)
Today, I've got Zoya's PixieDust offering for Summer 2014 to show you. This Magical Pixie trio, Zoya's second Magical Pixie set, offers the matte texture that we've come to expect in PixieDusts plus the amazingly sparkly holographic glitters we saw in the first Magical Pixie set.

NOTD: Zoya Lux & Zoya Emme
Hi, you guys! Hope your week is going well! :D
I've been loving the Zoya Magical Pixies lately, and wanted to show you one of my favorite looks with Lux. I had heard that some of the pixiedusts are great for layering, so I wondered how Lux would look over a different shade. Here's the result:
I have one coat of Zoya Lux over two coats of Zoya Emme, and I just love it! :) Emme's baby pink color is the perfect girly shade to put under Lux. And having just one coat of Lux instead of the usual two (when wearing by itself) makes the texture more subtle, while still retaining all of its sparkle.
Have you guys tried layering the pixiedusts? Let me know what combinations you've tried or want to try! :)
** Zoya Lux is a press sample. Full swatches HERE.

Zoya Magical Pixie - PixieDust for Spring 2014
Hi, you guys! Is it spring yet? I can't wait for sunshine and warmer temperatures. I'm pretty much over all the rain and the cold lol. Thankfully in the polish world, spring has arrived!
When I first heard about the new spring Zoya Magical Pixie Collection—a trio of polishes promising to have the pixiedust's traditional gritty texture plus plenty of bigger sparkly glitters—I admit I was totally intrigued. And Zoya really kept us in suspense this time, with the weather unavoidably delaying the shipment of these polishes for a few extra weeks. But the wait is over. I've finally got my paws on these and I'm so excited to show them to you. :)

China Glaze There's Snow One Like You
Happy hump day, you guys! :-)
You can find There's Snow One Like You at your local nail salons and at beauty stores such as Ulta and Sally Beauty for a retail price of $7.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

Today, I'm kicking off the twelve-polish China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Collection with the most unique and unusual of the bunch. There's Snow One Like You is a white texture polish with medium-sized hex glitters sprinkled throughout.
The first coat is easy to apply, but the subsequent coats are a little trickier because the polish is so bumpy. It's hard to get the second layer of polish to go on evenly and fill in all the dips. I ended up doing two coats for the swatches. I messed up my index and tried to add a third coat, but I wouldn't recommend that. It took forever to dry. Once on the nails, it reminds me of a pile of fresh snow or popcorn ceiling, depending on if you like the look or not. :P

OPI Kiss Me At Midnight
Hi, you guys! Hope your week is off to a fantastic start! :-)
You can find Kiss Me At Midnight at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.
** This post contains product(s) provided for honest consideration.
Today, I wanted to wrap up my selection from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection with another favorite of mine! Kiss Me At Midnight is a medium blue that leans slightly periwinkle with lots of shimmers and larger silver glitters that dries down to a textured matte glitter finish.
I think this is such a gorgeous blue! It's bright and saturated, and the sparkly silver glitters stand out so well against the base. The formula is great, just like the other liquid sands in the collection. It's a little thinner on the first coat, but it still builds up nicely to opacity by the second coat.
Now that I've shown you my picks from this collection, I have to say that while there are quite a few stunners, it's really the liquid sands from this collection that have captured my heart. OPI has done a fantastic job with them. They are all sparkly and festive, totally appropriate for the season. If I had to narrow down my choices to just one or two from this collection, my must-haves are Make Him Mine and Kiss Me At Midnight.
I'd love to know what you think of this collection. Which ones stand out to you and will be making their way into your stash? :-)

OPI Baby Please Come Home
Hi, you guys! Yay for it being the weekend! Gosh, this past week has just been absolutely crazy. I'm so thankful and relieved that the weekend is finally here. Hope yours is off to a fun and relaxing start! :-)
Today, I've got another beautiful liquid sand from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection to share with you. Baby Please Come Home is a subtly purplish silver with lots of shimmers and larger silver glitters that all dries down to a textured matte glitter finish.
This is another lovely liquid sand, scattered with the larger silver glitters that I've really come to love from OPI. While it appears to have a good amount of purple in the bottle, I feel like once it's on the nails, the purple seems more subtle and the overall polish leans more silver, probably due to its large amount of silver shimmers and glitters. The formula is everything you can ask for, making application super easy. Each coat comes out smoothly and with even distribution of the glitters and sand particles, and two coats is all you need for full coverage. :-)
You can find Baby Please Come Home at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

OPI Make Him Mine
Hi, you guys! This week is just flying by, which is totally ok by me. :-)
Today, I've got another liquid sand and a favorite of mine from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection to share with you. Make Him Mine is a neutral pinkish rose with lots of shimmers and larger silver glitters that all dries down to a textured matte glitter finish.
Wow, this is just stunning! It's a classic and girly shade, with enough neutral in here so it doesn't appear too pink. The larger silver glitters add just the right about of bling and sparkle to make it fun and festive. When I received this, I immediately wore it for a whole week and got quite a few compliments on it. :D The application is just as good as all the other liquid sands I've tried. Each coat comes out evenly and uniformly, and two coats is all I needed for opacity.
You can find Make Him Mine at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

OPI It's Frosty Outside
Hi, you guys! :-)
I'm really excited to be getting into my selection of polishes from the liquid sand portion of the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection. OPI is one of my favorite brands for textured polishes, so I had really high expectations for what we would see in this holiday collection. First up is It's Frosty Outside, a silver with tons of shimmers and glitters that dries down to a textured matte glitter finish.
This is such a gorgeous and sparkly silver, made all the more so by a sprinkling of larger-sized reflective silver glitters, a signature of OPI's for their liquid sands. The larger glitters do such a good job of catching the light as you move your hand, adding an extra dimension to this textured polish. The formula is fantastic, with all the glitters and gritty particles spreading out evenly across the nails. And you just need two standard coats for total coverage. :-)

OPI DS Pewter
Hi, you guys! Hope your week is going well! :-)
Today, I've got the second of the two new OPI Designer Series Raw Granite polishes to show you. DS Pewter is a dark pewter gray loaded with tons of small and slightly larger silver glitters that dries down to a sparkling, matte textured finish.
The formula is a little thinner than Lapis's, so it's much easier to control. The glitters build up nicely on the nails with each stroke. From a distance, the density of the silver glitters makes the overall polish look a little lighter than you may expect from the dark gray base. For the swatches, I did one thin coat to mark my edges and then one medium coat to fill everything in. This is another swoon-worthy beauty, reminding me of a galaxy full of twinkling stars. :-)
You can find DS Pewter at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $12.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

OPI DS Lapis
Hi, you guys! Happy Tuesday! I always find it hard to get back to the weekday grind after a long weekend, but on the plus side, we're already one day closer to the weekend heh. :-)
Today, I'm really excited to have one of the two new OPI Designer Series Raw Granite polishes to share with you. DS Lapis is a dark sapphire blue loaded with small silver and blue glitters that dries down to a sparkling, matte textured finish.
The formula was a little thick and goopy for me, which is very uncharacteristic of OPI. I had a little bit of trouble getting clean lines, so I would definitely add a few drops of thinner before using it again. Each coat did come out nicely pigmented, with the glitters distributing evenly. And I needed just the standard two coats for total coverage. The final result is worth the slightly tricky application though. It's a rich and striking color on the nails! And since I frequently get asked about dark blues, I'm happy to report that I had no staining. :-)
You can find DS Lapis at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $12.50 for 0.5 fl oz.

OPI Alcatraz... Rocks
Hi, you guys! Hope your weekend is going well! :-)
Today, I wanted to share with you the last of my picks from the OPI San Francisco Fall Collection. Alcatraz... Rocks is a dark steel blue with hoards of different colored glitters—green, pink, and blue—that all dries down to a gritty, textured finish.
Ok, I'm totally in love with this one! It's so sparkly and pretty, and the texture really enhances the multi-colored glitters in here. The formula is flawless. Each coat goes on smoothly, with the glitters and texture particles distributing evenly across the nails. And two coats is all you need for total opaque coverage. :)
I think overall, this collection has quite a few gems. Of my picks, my absolute must-haves are Peace & Love & OPI and Alcatraz... Rocks. Now that you've seen my picks from this collection, I'd love to know yours. Which colors will be making it into your stash?
You can find Alcatraz... Rocks at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

Zoya Carter
Hi, you guys! :-)
Today, I've got the last but certainly not least of the Zoya Fall PixieDust Collection to share with you. Carter is a dark purple filled with tons of sparkly bright purple glitters that dry down to a textured matte glitter finish.
This is such a sparkly and glowy polish, not to be missed by all you purple-lovers. :-) Application is quite easy without any issues. The first coat looks to be thin, but the second coat is able to fill in enough. I ended up being happy with the coverage at two coats, so I stopped there and that's what you see in the swatches. You can probably add a third coat if you want total opacity.
Now that I've tried all the colors in this collection, I have to say it's probably my favorite PixieDust collection to date. It's a little hard to pick favorites out of this collection because all the colors are beautiful, but if I had to, I would say my must-haves are Tomoko, Arabella, and Carter. I'd love to know what you think of this collection. What are your favs and which will be making it into your stash?
You can find Carter on Zoya.com for $9 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.
