Zoya Josie

Hi you guys! :-)

Today, I'm wrapping up the Zoya Stunning Summer 2013 Collection with Josie, a cool-toned slight-dusty medium grassy green with a creme finish.

Josie is definitely another win for Zoya. The color is terrific, though it does make my warm Asian skintone look both red and yellow at the same time lol. The formula is great as well. It's thin, smooth, and nicely pigmented, neeeding just two coats for opaque coverage. Dry time is fast, and each coat dries to a glossy finish.

Now that I've gone through all the colors in the collection, I'd love to know what you think of it. For me, I love bright pinks, so Micky and Yana are probably my favs from the collection. Which ones are yours? Will any of the colors be going home with you? :-)

You can find Josie on Zoya.com for $8 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.

Zoya Rocky

Hi you guys! Happy hump-of-the-week! :-)

Today, I've got another pretty color from the Zoya Stunning Summer 2013 Collection to share with you. Rocky is a cool-toned, slightly muted medium blue with a creme finish.

The blue has just a hint of teal in it, so that it looks a little aqua under certain lighting. It's also not too bright, helped by a slightly dusty quality to the blue. Formula-wise, this is a good one in the collection. It's easy to apply, gliding on effortlessly without any streaking or pulling. And it's nicely pigmented, so two coats is all you need for opacity.

You can find Rocky on Zoya.com for $8 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.

Zoya Yana

Hi you guys! :-)

I've got the other pink from the Zoya Stunning Summer 2013 Collection to share with you today. Yana is an intense, dark bright pink with a creme finish.

This is a gorgeous summer-time pink, rich and vivid. Just like a lot of the other colors in the collection, this one has a dusting of fine shimmers that are visible in the bottle, but hidden on the nails. The formula is fantastic with this one. It's thin and pigmented, making application a breeze. I just need the standard two coats to reach total opaque coverage, and everything ends up drying to a glossy shine.

You can find Yana on Zoya.com for $8 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.

Zoya Micky

Hi you guys! No matter how hard I wish it, Monday always arrives quickly without fail lol. Hope your week is off to a good start! :-)

Today, I've got another fun color to share with you from the Zoya Stunning Summer 2013 Collection. Micky is a bright warm barbie pink with a creme finish.

This is another one that has a bit of the hidden shimmer, though you'll have to look really closely to see it on the nails. The formula is mostly good, though it feels a little thick which can lead to some dragging, especially around the cuticles. I'd probably add a drop or two of thinner the next time I use Micky. I used two coats for the swatches, being careful to wait a few minutes between each coat to minimize dragging.

You can find Micky on Zoya.com for $8 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.

Zoya Thandie

Hi you guys! Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Hope you're all having a wonderful day celebrating with your families. :-)

Today, I've got another color from the Zoya Stunning Summer 2013 Collection to share with you. Thandie is a citrus-y melon orange with a creme finish.

It's a fun orange - juicy and rich. And its slight melon tone helps temper the brightness of this orange, making it more mellow and wearable. There is the tiniest smattering of shimmers in the bottle; once on the nails, it's strictly a creme with no discernible shimmers. The formula is great! It's thin, smooth, and easy to control. You need just the standard two coats, and everything dries quickly to a glossy shine.

You can find Thandie on Zoya.com for $8 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.

Zoya Darcy

Hi you guys! Hope you've all been well over the past week. I had originally planned on having posts while I was on vacation, but I think I was too ambitious. I didn't end up with even one post finished by the time I left for vacation lol. :D I confess I really missed blogging while I was gone, and I'm happy to be back with you guys again. <3

Today, let's kick off the Zoya Stunning Summer 2013 Collection! First up is Darcy, a bright rich canary yellow with a cream finish.

It's a really happy summer-time yellow, and the richness of the shade probably flatters most skin tones. :-) As is the case with yellow polishes, this one doesn't have the best formula. It goes on quite streaky. The first coat is easy to apply, but each coat after that feels like the formula is both runny and thick at the same time, if that makes sense. It's runny and thin, but if you wipe off the excess and then apply, you may not have enough polish to reach from the cuticle to the free edge, so it drags along. I ended up doing 3 coats to try to even everything out; it looks good, though not perfect, at that.

You can find Darcy on Zoya.com for $8 for 0.5 fl oz. If you are new to Zoya, you can get your first two bottles of Zoya for $8 - $9 total and free shipping! More info HERE.
