OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine!

Next up in OPI's Germany Collection is Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! It is a very dark greenish gray with a creme finish.

This is a very dark gray color that looks murky and swampy due to its green tint. It is about as dark as a gray can get without being black. If you like dark, understated colors, then you'll be sure to find this one sophisticated and classy. If you prefer your polishes with more color, then you'll be safe to skip this one. The formula is just as superb as the rest of the collection, and two coats is sufficient for perfect coverage. The names of the polishes in this collection have made me giggle with their cheesiness, but I think this one is the most ridiculous. :-)

OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me

Continuing with OPI's Germany Collection, today I have Don't Talk Bach To Me to show you. Don't Talk Bach To Me has a greenish, mustard yellow base with just the smallest hint of shimmers.

This is definitely the odd or interesting color of the collection (take your pick). It's an unusual mix of avocado green and mustard yellow, looking more yellow than green once on the nails. It has a slightly dirty quality to it, so that the color comes across more mellow than crisp. It also has a smattering of fine silver shimmers that gives the polish a pearly finish when the light hits it. I don't have anything very similar to this color in my collection. The closest I have is Zoya Tracie, which has the same fine silver shimmers and pearly finishes, though it is a lot more green than Don't Talk Bach To Me.

OPI Berlin There Done That

Hi lovelies! Hope you are in the midst of a fun-filled and relaxing weekend! For me, a big part of the weekend is the food. My husband and I very much enjoy eating out, so we would spend the weekend talking about the restaurants we could go to and all the food possibilities, and then making the difficult decisions of narrowing it down to just a few. We always come out of weekends very satisfied and a few pounds heavier, no doubt. ;-)

Today I have Berlin There Done That, a taupe neutral creme from OPI's Germany Collection to show you.

Taupe is one of those colors that I think looks better on walls than on nails (at least on my nails), but I do admit Berlin There Done That isn't too bad. The taupe is a good balance between gray and brown, and it's a clean-looking taupe that doesn't come across muddy. On me, it has just a hint of purple at some angles, but that could be the contrast against my skintone. Formula is smooth and streak-free, and is opaque is two coats.

OPI My Very First Knockwurst

Continuing with OPI's Germany Collection, today I have the second beige from the collection. My Very First Knockwurst is a beige neutral creme with just a hint of pink.

The pink isn't too obvious on the nails, and it looks predominately beige under artificial lighting, Under natural lighting, the pink shows up a bit more, along with a hint of lilac at times. This is another great formula, with smooth, thin application and no pooling, lumping, or dragging. Two coats is sufficient for even and opaque coverage. This isn't a new or very exciting color for sure, but it is a well-done neutral, if you are looking for one. :-)

OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons

Today, I am so excited to be kicking off the OPI Germany Collection, comprised of a set of 12 fall-appropriate neutrals, jewel tones, and dark vampy colors. First up from the collection is Don't Pretzel My Buttons, a beige neutral creme.

This is one of two beige cremes in the collection. This one distinguishes itself with its hint of peach undertones. I like this color. It's beige, but with just enough of a hint of color to keep from being too blah. Formula is just perfect. Two coats were used for the swatches, with each coat coming out thin and even. It is non-streaky, even on the very first coat—definitely a win. :-)

for Fall/Winter 2012

OPI embraces runway trends with the Germany Collection for Fall/Winter 2012. Drawing inspiration from Berlin, an exciting new fashion hub that blends classic looks with the avant-garde, the collection’s twelve shades offer a mixture of vibrant color, urban-chic neutrals, and reds in variations from light to dark.
