OPI My Vampire Is Buff

Hi you guys! :-)

Every year, OPI releases two seasonal collections based on geographic locations, and their first such collection for 2013 is here. I'm excited to have the 12-polish OPI Euro Centrale Collection to share with you. Today I'm starting off with My Vampire Is Buff, a light off-white beige with a creme finish.

This is a light color, but still soft and not at all chalky. It's a fresh and easy color to wear, and a lovely palette cleanser for spring. It has a great creme formula. It goes on smooth and even without any pooling or clumping. It was still a little streaky at two coats, so I did three for the swatches.

You can find My Vampire Is Buff at your local nail salons and beauty stores for $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

  3. This is so beautiful, Yun! Of the whole collection, this is the one I was most looking forward to. Most creme shades lean more beige or yellow than I like, but this one looks like it's gonna be just what I've been looking for. :D

  4. I couldn't wear a colour like this on its own, so I would probably have covered it up with all sorts of nail art :D It looks good on you alone though :)

    1. Thanks, I'm glad you like it on me! It's not a color I would wear often either. In general, I prefer more loud colors but I like colors like this every once in a while lol. :-)

  5. This is one of those colors that I debated about picking up when I saw it and now after seeing your swatches, I'm going to have to go back to the beauty supply store and get it now! Love these "not quite white" whites LOL

  9. Yay, I was hoping this collection was next on your agenda ;) I really like this. How does it comppare to Zoya Jacqueline?

    1. Good question. Jacqueline is a little darker and much more of a buttercup yellow, while MVIB is lighter and more of an off-white with beige tones. They are different enough that you can safely own both. Hope that helps! :-)

    1. Ah good point, I didn't think of that. I don't have My Boyfriend Scales Walls, but I thought that was much more of a white? Hard to say from swatches I've seen, but I think your undertone comparison is probably spot-on. :-)
