OPI Chic From Ears To Tail

Hi you guys! I just got the nastiest paper cut... arrg. It hurt like crazy, but the first thing I thought of was thank goodness it's not on my swatching hand lol.

Today, I want to kick off the five-polish OPI Couture de Minnie Collection. First up is Chic From Ears To Tail, your typical light barbie-pink creme with just a scattering of subtle shimmers.

First of all, I thought this name is just sooo cute hehe! As you guys may know, I have a pet chinchilla, so I'm undeniably partial to all cute rodent references. :D

While this has shimmers, I would say it's mostly a creme. The shimmers are pretty faint, and you'll only see them if the light hits just right. The formula is ok for the most part. It was still a little thin and streaky at two coats, so I did have to do a third coat to even everything out.

You can find Chic From Ears To Tail at your local nail salons and beauty stores such as Ulta and Dillard's for a retail price of $9 for 0.5 fl oz.

    1. I'm glad you like the color! Oooh yes, that glitter is very fun... it goes so well over pinks and reds. Maybe that could be an excuse to get more? ;)

    1. I'm glad you like the color! Bummer of the OPI prices where you are though. :( I was in Europe last year and I saw how expensive OPIs were over there... like more than $20 a bottle, so I guess it's similar in Australia. :(

  8. Thin and sheer doesn't sound like my kind of polish - but it's looking great nonetheless! :)

  9. It's a chinchilla!!! Of course! They're soooo adorable. We thought about getting one but decided on another cat, instead. They're just the cutest things, though... I hear they're nocturnal? Pretty, pretty pink, too, and the name is super cute :)

    1. Yes, in my banner! :) He's the little furry-love of my life, and he knows it too... so spoiled hehe. Yep, they're nocturnal, so he loves to make lots of noise when we're sleeping. :D I'm glad you like the polish. :)

  10. What a fun name - and the color is so delicate - but sheer is not my thing either...
Paper cuts - hate them :(

    1. Hehe I do. He's the little rodent in my banner. :-) I think Minnie's colors are pink and red, so OPI's staying true to that with the collections. :-)

  13. What a sweet pink--I really love these soft yet warm pinks, you can wear them everywhere! That's so cute that you have your chinchilla in your banner--I've always noticed him but I don't know why I didn't connect the dots! :)
